This of the coronavirus, is undoubtedly one of the most complex moments that many of us have ever experienced; to someone with older memories, they remember the war. Maybe, at least for now, it is going much better than then.
The situation
In this article, which is very different from our usual ones, we want to make ourselves useful by trying to give information and some indications on how best to deal with this delicate “suspended time”.
Everywhere, nowadays, we are asked to stay at home in order to minimize the contagion of Covid-19, and to only go out in the case of absolute necessity: work, shopping, proven health reasons, assistance to a family member not self-sufficient only for the time that is necessary. No form of aggregation is allowed, on this the decree (and subsequent orders of Regions and Municipalities which are even more restrictive) is very clear.

But what is coronavir?
Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses and can cause various infections, from the common cold to more serious diseases such as Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) and severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). What is raging now, started in China and is putting not only Italy but the whole world in crisis, and is identified with the name SARS-CoV-2. It is a new strain of coronavirus that has never been identified in humans before.
This new coronavirus (whose scientific name is SARS-CoV-2), is an RNA virus (a polymeric molecule involved in various biological roles of encoding genes), covered by a capsid (envelope) and a peri-capsid crossed by glycoprotein structures that give it the typical “crown” appearance, therefore the name.
In humans, the SARS-CoV-2 virus is capable of causing the disease that we now call COVID-19.
How to defend yourself from COVID-19
There is a lot of news that is running on the internet and there is no shortage of fakes: from hot drinks, to vitamin C, passing through other “alternative remedies” of dubious nature. Let’s say immediately that drinking hot drinks or consuming vitamin C is certainly not harmful. It is behaviour that can only help us to improve our daily habits, especially by taking advantage of this moment to implement them.
The Ministry guidelines, which we report in this info-graphic, are based on principles of common sense and responsibility: in addition to hygiene, it is ESSENTIAL to stay at home and limit contacts to a minimum.
What resources for those who can work from home
The moment is undoubtedly unique and, as such, we must treat it so. For better or for worse, every crisis has hidden sides that only after a long time will we be able to understand and analyse with clarity.
However, there are situations that must be taken as opportunities: great opportunities can arise from a great crisis.
One of these is undoubtedly smart working which allows many categories of workers and professionals to be close to their customers and companies, without leaving their homes.

First of all, a connection is needed, the one at home or on the mobile phone is perfect for most daily activities: answering emails, preparing documents, making video calls. You obviously need to have a computer or tablet to be able to work comfortably.
Accessing your computer in the office could be complicated, so we recommend having a copy of important documents also in the Cloud, and this applies to both your personal and business documents.
It is essential that companies work in this direction to make work “agile” … but really agile.
